The story of a young boy, who moves to a new town, after his parents are killed in a horrible carcrash. His Aunt Lori, was more than happy to take in the 16 year old teenager, but it was the last place that Alex wanted to be. After discovering a beautiful cabin in the woods, and and even more beautiful boy living there, Alex ends up discovering that there is more to life than he imagined, and his is about to end.

Halloween 1974
As I stood on the decrepid floor of the old wooden cabin, I could see the breath from the dying bear curled up on the living room rug. Its throat appeared to be slashed, and it groaned soflty, before it began to shake, and then was still. A sound behind me made me jump, and I spun around, standing face to face with the most beautfiul woman I had ever seen before. Her eyes were black, and held no indication of light, and long blonde hair fell past her shoulders, in to small ringlets. She glanced down at the dead bear, before turning her sorrowful gaze on me.
"I didn't plan on killing any humans tonight, but it appears my supper has just died."
Winter 2008
They say before you die, your life suddenly flashes before you eyes, but as I lay on the ground covered in blood and dirt, the only thought running through my head was that I had never kissed a girl before. Now this isn't to suggest that I was a virgin or weird or anything, but since high school I had only been with other guys. I suddenly realized how proud my old man would have been, knowing that my last seconds of life would be spent thinking of kissing girls. What a cruel irony. I try to get up, but my body is week, and I am trembling softy, from the loss of blood and dropping temperatures no doubt. I can see the puddle of my own blood forming around me, but I don't feel anymore pain. Death should be a quick transition and so I rested my head on the ground, and fell asleep watching the snow flakes which had begun to fall.
Life is beautiful.
